Most of the time you see or hear the lore of major players, like Sylvanas, but what about other supporting characters. Shandris Feathermoon only recently became more than just a background character. She is a close friend, the adopted daughter of Tyrande Whisperwind.
Her entire family murdered in the War of the Ancients by demons, Tyrande had adopted her afterward and Shandris became a warrior herself. She continued to remain devoted to The High Priestess. Eventually leading the Shadowleaves herself, which were a cadre of Sentinels. She helped lead her people during the third war and in the defense of Nordrassil.
A skilled warrior and archer and having proved herself, she gained promotion to the General of the Sentinel Army. Shandris lead her people to victory a number of times. Some of her notable achievements were commanding the Sentinel forces from Feathermoon Stronghold before and during the Cataclysm.
She also helped co-lead the Alliance’s war campaign on Zandalar during the Blood War. A child who lost her parents, she grew up to be a powerful strong skilled fighter we see today, and a great leader. Under Tyrande’s guidance and love, we have seen Shandris grow and flourish.
Shandris was instrumental in helping save and locate Tyrande when she was taken by demons in The War of the Ancients. She participated in leading the army of sentinels in the War of the Satyr. Shandris has been very loyal to Tyrande and the alliance, but more so she would follow Tyrande anywhere she went.
In The Third War, she fought while Tyrande went to awaken the druids as they would need the help of the druids for this war. They came up with a plan to trick Archimonde into destroying himself. Her arrows killed many demons while they were defending the human and orcish encampments and base.
There are just too many of her accomplishments to really list them all, but from the ones we have mentioned, you can see she is very skilled in both leadership and fighting. I believe she will be instrumental in Shadowlands to come.
Do you think we will see more of her in the future? What is your favorite accomplishment of hers? Let us know in the comments below.
