If you’re like me, you’re probably dying from anticapation waiting for Diablo III to be released next Tuesday 15th.  Even though it’s only days until the game comes out, it seems the closer we get the worse the wait seems.  I’ve been searching for anything Diablo related to tide me over and that’s when I stumbled across Zygor’s Diablo III Guide.

I already know of Zygor from their kick ass World of Warcraft guides which were a lifesaver and totally changed the way I played that game. These new Diablo III guides look to be just as awesome. You get a complete walkthrough of the whole game from Act I to Act IV, guides for all five classes which tell you how to set your spells and make your characters as powerful as can be, how to optimize your followers to maximize damage and healing, and loads more – including a guide for obtaining all the achievements in the game.

If you are considering buying a leveling guide for World of Warcraft, Zygor’s Guides is a very solid choice. It is the best selling guide on the market, which is not a surprise considering that they do everything possible to keep the guide and included addons compliant with Blizzards policies. This alone will keep you out of trouble.

With the release of Cataclysm, the whole face of the game has changed. The leveling paths that have been tried and true for years simply do not exist anymore. Some quests were removed as they no longer make sense in the current storyline, while others were added in to explain the back history  to the arrival of Deathwing. You can fumble with trying to find the fastest path on your own, or you can give a leveling guide a shot.

The guide is set up to level purely with questing from level 1 all the way to 85. There are also  multiple paths listed for those of you who prefer certain zones over others. I know that I prefer to do most of my leveling in the Eastern Kingdoms, but those of you who like Kalimdor are not left out.

Zygor incorporates what they call the “Smart Injection System” that is set up to detect your character’s status compared to where they should be in the guide and will take steps to get you in the right place. It knows if you are wearing heirloom gear, are set up with as a recruit a friend account, or if you have done the quests before. This is a sticking point with some of the guides in that they do not account for things you may have done before.

Best of all, it gives you a talent advisor that will assist you in picking the proper talents for your class. This is important as the proper talents can mean the difference between quick or long kills. There is no reason to do research on the best spec, then fumbling to find the order to get the talents in.

There are also a few notable bonuses that don’t directly help with leveling a character, but they are nice additions to the product. These range from profession guides on Inscription and Archaeology to a guide on the Death Knight class. If you are serious about buying a leveling guide, or even plan to level up multiple characters in the coming months, you will not go wrong with Zygor’s Guides.

                  Daily quests are a necessary part of World of Warcraft, especially if you want your level 80 toon to be fully geared with enchantments for all pieces of gear.  WoW dailies are a source of reputation and gold for all characters, so there are plenty of benefits for completing them.

                  Each of your characters is allowed to complete up to 25 WoW dailies per day.  You can mix and match any of the daily quests you wish, but the best way to go about it is to choose one area and do all the dailies in it at the same time.  The key you’re looking for is convenience, and many of the daily quests in one area can all be done at the same time.  This will allow you to complete five or more WoW dailies all at once, which certainly makes completing all 25 of your daily quests in two hours or less.

Figure Out What You Need

 It’s also very important to prioritize your needs when you’re talking about completing all 25 of your daily quests in less than two hours.  Some of the dailies will grant you gold, others will give you reputation, and still others will give you some combination of the two.  Just try to figure out what your priority is before you begin running dailies.  If gold is your top priority for the moment, then you should look for the daily quests that earn you the most gold.  One of the most important things about farming for gold through daily quests is the fact that you don’t want to spend a lot of time flying around to various areas.  Flight time is just wasted time, especially when you only have two hours to work with, so pick just one or two areas in which the gold payout is higher than the others.  Then just stick to these areas.  You’ll also want to set up a regular route to follow because you’ll notice that each day these daily quests will take you less and less time to do.

If reputation is your number one priority, then you’ll want to look for the daily quests that earn you reputation with the faction you’re trying to be exalted with.  Most of these quests are all located in one area, so you don’t have to worry much about flight time between quests.

Check Out a Dailies Guide

One thing that will really help you in your efforts to spend no more than two hours on your daily quests is a dailies guide like Dugi’s Dailies and Events Guide.  This in-game guide will help keep you on track and moving forward with your quests every second.  The guide also advances as you do the quests, which saves you even more time because you’re not constantly looking back and forth between the guide and the game.  The guide also analyzes your character and can suggest dailies for you to do, based on your character’s status and needed reputation.

World of Warcraft is a land of elites. It’s just the way it is. The game has been online for the last four years and some players have been playing the whole time, pretty much destroying anyone in their path to become the best around. So, it’s no surprise that people look for new guides all the time to help them get better and bump up to par with the top pros out there. Luckily, every now and then a guide actually comes along that can help you do that – becoming a top player in a land of elites. This time around, that new guide is Warcraft Formula.

To be a hundred percent accurate, Warcraft Formula isn’t a single guide. It’s a ton of guides, with a new one added to the mix every month. I reviewed the first couple of months for this review and they were top notch content. Each guide was 30 pages long and included three features, top news from the month, questions from readers, an action plan and a preview of the next month. Each feature was full of useful content that was designed to do just about anything you needed it to – from building up a powerful play through strategy for a Death Knight to creating a 10 man raiding group. It’s not hyper specific information, but it’s a heck of a lot more than the general strategies you get from the existing guides on the market.

To top things off, you get a whole bunch of extras with the guide. The first extra was the Fast Track Action Plan that Brad and T Dub provide. It’s a guideline that helps players figure out how to put together a good WoW account. Basically, it includes everything from an outline of how to build a character, choose your UI and the right class and professions to how to get into a guild, start up PvP and go about raiding. Essentially, it’s a route to stop making so many silly mistakes as you play through the game – a great tool for beginners and something even a few veterans could probably benefit from.

In the end, Warcraft Formula is a great new product that provides something I’ve never seen before in a WoW product. It is updated every month with a new ebook and all for a decent monthly fee with information about pretty much every aspect of the game not just a couple of select areas.
