Embers of Neltharion 10.1: A Look at the Exciting New Features Coming to World of Warcraft

Blizzard has announced the first major patch for Dragonflight, Embers of Neltharion 10.1. This update will bring some changes to the game and story, including giving us some new things as well. We will work to uncover the secret lab of Neltharion this expansion. Older players might recognize Neltharion better as Deathwing.

The patch will include new zones, a new NPC race, as well as the return of the Drogbar. A new raid will open up that has 9 bosses with a Scalecommander who tries to claim the secrets of the lab.

The new patch will add a new story chapter to the game as well. Players have been discovering hints of secrets buried beneath the Dragon Isles during Dragonflight. Theroes will be digging more into draconic lore as we enter an underground zone that Neltharion once used as his base of operations.

New NPC Race

During the exploration of the new zone, players will meet the Niffen who is a race of mole-like humanoids. This will also be the fifth renown faction of Dragonflight . The race will help players navigate the subterranean caverns alongside a clan of friendly Drogbar.

New World Event

A new world event will be getting added as well, called Fyrakk Assaults. The Primal Incarnate of Fire will attack various locations on the Dragon Isles while he looks for something to aid his brethren. There will be new local stories including a chapter about Tyr and some more additions about Kalecgos and the blue dragonflight.

Dragonriding & Gear

There will be a new dragonriding drake and some abilities getting added as well. You will even see some new powerful and stylish gear getting added, more mounts and cosmetic items will also grace our presence in this new major patch.

Cross Faction Guilds

The one feature that players have been asking for, for so long is finally coming to the game in Embers of Neltharion 10.1. You will be able to join a guild no matter your faction. So, if you have friends or family who play on either side then you can join their guild even if you are not on the same faction as them.

These are just the most looked out for things coming as I am sure they will include more to what they will be bringing to World of Warcraft during the Embers of Neltharion.
