The content update for Burning Crusade Classic, Fury of the Sunwell, launched. This also included launching the Sunwell Plateau raid. The story is that after you defeated Prince Kael’thas, he returned to Silvermoon. He told his people he would lead them to glory but instead betrayed them.
Kael’thas wants to use the legendary Sunwell to summon Kil’jaeden into Azeroth. The players and champions of Azeroth must stop him. Shattrath’s combined forces launched an attack on the Isle of Quel’Danas so that they might confront Kael’thas and the Legion.
There is a new reputation that you can gain, Shattered Sun Offensive including some new dailies. The Shattered Sun’s forces will be limited as you help them resist the assault. The effort advancement really depends on everyone in the realm completing quests and aiding the efforts. As everyone assists them, you will get fresh reinforcements offering goods and services including new daily quests.
Access to Allies
Once you fully reinforce the staging area, you will start to gain access to allies that will help you. There will be blacksmiths for repairs, innkeepers, alchemists as well as vendors. The vendors will sell profession patterns and even some new badge of justice vendors who will sell you epic gear and gems.
